Husband to Aleesha and father to Mahala and Taj. I have currently completed 22 years in the Royal Australian Navy with multiple campaigns. I joined the RAN from Brisbane on 22 May 2000. As a Boatswain’s Mate, I have seen a lot of the world serving on HMA Ships Kanimbla, Tobruk, Success, LHD Adelaide III, Stuart, Ballarat, Parramatta and LHD Canberra, and have been deployed on many active ADF operations and conflicts, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Border Protection, Samoa, SE Asia, and during the 2019-20 Bush Fires. I have also been posted to shore roles where I have a passion for assisting our next Indigenous Generation. I assisted in the Army and Navy Indigenous Development Program and Indigenous Pre-recruitment Course whilst working as an Indigenous Recruitment Officer for the Directorate of Indigenous Affairs. I continued this support while working as a Regional Indigenous Development Coordinator for the Directorate of Navy Culture. Having now been commissioned as a naval officer, I currently work as the Human Resources Officer for Romeo Group.
