I was born in Cunnamulla, Queensland and completed my schooling at the Cunnamulla State High School in 1988. I commenced my career as a Health Worker/Educator in 1990, employed by Queensland Health and Community Controlled Organisations throughout Queensland. I received my  Bachelor of Education (Primary) in 2009 from Deakin University Geelong, VIC, which led me to employment in the Education sector for the following ten years working at Glendyne Baptist Union Education, Department of Education & Training Queensland and the Abu Dhabi Education Council (United Arab Emirates).

I joined the Royal Australian Air Force in June 2019 as an Indigenous Liaison Officer and at the completion of Officer Training School, I took up my first posting to No 17SQN, RAAF Base Tindal as the Indigenous Liaison Officer.  Throughout my time at Tindal, I’ve helped strengthen the ongoing relationship between the Air Force and the Indigenous Language Groups within the Katherine Region through honest, open and meaningful engagement.

In 2022, I was posted to Headquarters Air Command in 2022 as the Senior Indigenous Liaison Officer. Outside of Defence, my interests include bike riding, baking, travel and spending time with my husband Peter and family.
