Michael (Mick) Markham enlisted into the Australian Army under the National Service Scheme for two years and served with 9RAR in South Vietnam from 1968 – 1969 9th Royal Australian Regiment, 8 Platoon C Coy/Support Section of Company Headquarters Unit. He was an M60 Machine Gunner…and drank 6 litres of water daily!
