i joined the Royal Australian Navy as a 17 year old from Townsville in 1997, and served in the ships Bendigo, Melville, Leeuwin, Warramunga, Tobruk, Arunta, Brisbane and Perth. At the time of my portrait being taken I was a Chief Petty Officer member of the Defence Force Recruiting Specialist Recruiting Team – Indigenous (SRT-I) based in Cairns, Queensland. Currently (March 2024) still serving as a Lieutenant Commander, Maritime Logistics Officer.
